Shiatsu for Your Horse
Cathy has taken the ancient oriental treatment of Shiatsu and developed it into a modern form of massage
that any horse lover can use to enhance the health and well being of their horse.
In the first part of the book the reader is shown how to perform a simple Shiatsu treatment. In part two cathy explains the philosophy behind Shiatsu in simple terms for the reader who would like a deeper understanding. Part three introduces the reader to The 'Five Elements' as a means of recognising the characteristic of a horse and gaining a better knowledge of its anatomy.
Each video is designed to guide the viewer through the basics of some of the techniques Cathy uses, enabling the viewer to go and try these with their own horse.
Equine Shiatsu Bodywork includes a step by step guide showing how you can give a basic Shiatsu treatment to your horse with immediate effects!
Cathy takes the viewer through a treatment on a bargy horse and within 20 minutes he is all but asleep!
The step by step guide which follows, shows you how to do the same with your horse.
Ideal for calming and helping with many problems, Shiatsu is also excellent for helping aid recovery from injury.
Helping with Common Behavioural Problems takes the viewer through several techniques that can help with horses that are highly strung, will not stay tied up, are head shy, do not like their feet being picked up and more.
It is full of useful tips that everyone can use.
Cathy's new video Help Your Horse to Load is already proving very popular.
After the success of the first two videos Helping with Common Horse Problems and Equine Shiatsu Bodywork, Cathy has produced a third video called Help Your Horse to Load.
Bad loading is not just an issue for the owner. Indeed it is more intrinsically a large issue for the horse. In this video Cathy begins by showing you how teaching your horse to lead and overcoming some basic fear issues will lead to an easier and safer loading. She then shows you how to assess the trailer/lorry to make it as horse-friendly as possible. Once this is done Cathy then goes on to show you the steps to a successful loading.
